I Love New York: A Jewelry Perspective
Ahhh, New York City. I kind of can’t get enough. I just got back from a whirlwind trip to see some new designers and favorite people there.
Here’s a jewelry insider view of three days in NYC.
I met with the lovely and gracious Jane Bohan in her light-filled studio. I loved seeing new designs, like these beautiful pendants and earrings that artfully reveal gorgeous gemstones.

A supple bracelet from Jewelista, an online designer jewelry site that had a special friends and family event while I was in NYC. This bracelet felt so beautiful on the wrist, and the warm apricot feldspar went with everything.

A chance visit to Atelier Minyon in SoHo. It was worth the trip to get a glimpse into designer Alp Sagnak’s world of artful juxtapositions of bright versus dark, in both metals and design themes.
