You might also search for a local (to you) specialist selling vintage watches. I know there are a couple in New York, for example, and there are a number near me in London. You need to know your prices though, and there are several online resources and a couple of good books (including one available as an iphone app) that will guide you.

Thanks for the great info! I’ve purchased a handbag from Portero.com and it was a great experience, super straightforward and I got exactly what I expected! Great to know I can also go to them for a luxury watch as well.
